As far as I am concerned this product is the best quality out there and available. I was on prilosec for a very long time and continued to have what the doctors said was gerd (reflux disease). What I really had was too few enzymes to break down the food. When I started taking these tablets (2) per meal, all the upset stomach, diarrhea and acid reflux disappeared within the week. These tablets are probably saving my life.

After so many deaths in our family, I was having serious stomach issues. This product seemed to help me a lot when I needed it. I like that the pancreatic enzymes derive from pigs, not cows (with all the Mad Cow Disease fears). As we age, our digestion does need some help sometimes from what I've read, and for me, this product did just that. And, it wasn't as if I had to keep taking it for the rest of my life or anything. Once the initial "fire" was relieved, I now only take them periodically, like if I know I am going to have a heavy meal. Would highly recommend this product to all.

I had doubts about how well this helps when adding it to my daily vitamin regimen. Well I have no doubts now. I do two a day and feel like my aging is going in reverse. My energy levels are up and mood swings are down. I totally recommend this product to friends and family.

Mega-Zyme was recommended to me by someone who is familiar with treating leaky gut syndrome, which I've got to some degree, as I suffered from systemic Candida for 2 years. I had never tried digestive enzymes before. I take 2 with each meal and 1 with snacks. I have noticed I have more energy after I eat now, which is great. But the main thing I'm noticing is less allergies. As my gut has been healing, I've still been dealing with food allergies cropping up. This enzyme supplement essentially helps "chop up" my food so that large particles of food are no longer passing via my gut into my bloodstream, where it causes horrible allergies.
Update (9/27/11): I think this is a terrific enzyme supplement, provided you are one of the few who has sufficient levels of stomach acid (HCl). I started taking another digestive enzyme that includes HCl and ox bile and am finding that this one works better for me. But I still keep Mega-Zyme around and use it when I eat small snacks.

This is a great digestive enzyme. It seems to work very well for me. I have problems digesting certain foods/seasonings. This product has helped me.
