 Helps with PMS and crampsApr 24, 2010
A friend of mine recommended Brevail to me several years ago. She has endometriosis and said that her doctor recommended that she take Brevail to help balance her hormones. I have had a history of extremely bad cramps (they even were causing me to vomit) and heavy periods, the cause being hormonal imbalance. I was completely unable to function and was miserable and in a lot of pain for two-three days every month. I started on Brevail when my friend recommended it and have noticed dramatic improvement. I now rarely even need to take aleve or ibuprofen for cramping! I was able to tell a difference in the first few months and now my cycle has completely normalized and my period doesn't hardly slow me down! I couldn't recommend Brevail more highly!

At an appointment with a surgeon, for an unrelated matter, he took the time to tell my husband and I about Brevail. He told us that both of us should be taking it, along with getting enough fiber. He explained it would help to prevent cancer - not just breast cancer. It does other good things for your body, too.
Don't take it at the same time you take prescription meds. And, drink at least 8 oz of water with the pill.
We have both taken it for 3 weeks and have not noticed any side effects.

Those night time flashes can wake you up drenched in sweat. This really helped with that. Good product.

I have been taking Brevail for about 4 months now. I admit that I don't take it daily, as directed. Since I have been taking the Brevail I have not had any hot flashes and have not experienced any side effects. It may have reduced my depression and PMS as well. This is always difficult to measure though.
