Tastes great, lots of nutrients, causes severe gastric upsetJan 01, 2008 Nothing on this product packaging warns you about what Dr. Teitlebaum says on his own website: that this powder can cause really bad diarrhea and stomach upset. Yes, it's got a serious amount of nutrients packed into one tolerable tasting scoop of powder and tablet, but something in the mix (not just the magnesium) causes really bad, burning gastrointestinal upset. If you decide to try this, start out with about a quarter of the recommended doseage for a few days and see how you do. The doctor who "prescribed" this didn't tell me until after I'd developed a rather severe problem with it. Some people have reported great results, but there's a huge potential downside so beware and be careful.
