Let the buyer beware. This WAS the best fiber on the market, hands down. It worked in every way. (It doesn't completely dissolve in water but I never thought it was supposed to. It isn't a clear fiber product.) However, the company recently changed the formula and it tastes terribly artificial and smells revolting. We all belched for hours and hours and tasted the artificial metallic taste every time. I am returning what I bought and going on a search. I may try a different product from this company as I like what they stand for but whoever made THIS marketing decision should be taken to task. It wasn't broken but they "fixed" it anyway. NOW it's broken. Big mistake!

UPDATE: My original review for this product (shown below) was a 5-star description for this fiber supplement. NOT. ANY. LONGER. Since I purchased my last jar of Fibertastic in autumn 2011, the manufacturer has obviously changed its recipe. While the nutrition data remains the same, instead of a "pleasant" flavor, it is now rather vile. It overpowers anything it is added to. Hard to believe such a drastic change could have been made without any obvious labeling on the product itself. Other than a slightly modified nutrition information panel, there is nothing on the product to indicate a new recipe. Bring back the old product!!! I am looking into returning my latest jar now as I am definitely NOT satisfied. For historical purposes, I include my original review below. I will be happy to restore that review once the manufacturer restores its product. However, they will have to mail me a new jar to prove that the original is back as I will not be buying this product ever again.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've tried a few different fiber supplements, but the Fiber-tastic is my favorite by far. It's flavor is "pleasant", at least as far as fiber is concerned. I don't particularly like it mixed just with water-- instead, I mix mine with plain Greek yogurt (as well as chocolate protein powder and raspberries). It definitely would go nicely in a fruit smoothy as well. It also has a healthy dose of fiber-- 2g soluble and 2g insoluble per scoop.

Both my husband and I love the taste of this fiber. I just can't seem to figure out why it will not dissolve in my liquids. I end up with these floating clumps of the fiber at the bottom of the drink. The directions say to mix it with your beverages but for some reason, I just can't seem to get it right. Other than this problem, it is the best tasting fiber out there.
