This product does not have any odor at all and does not give you fishy breath. I researched the manufacture process and it seems excellent. Beware of the cheap brands that claim to be odorless, do not give you the exact composition of the types of oils found in the product, or have only 300 mg of the oil if you read the small print when they claim to have 1000 mg. Plus this gives you much needed vitamin D, which many people nowadays have a deficiency due to use of sunscreens and spending all daylight hours at work wit no sunlight. Low vitamin D weakens your bones and gives you joint pains.
I found that this product accomplished a modest amount of blood pressure reduction for me- just enough that I do not need to use a prescription medication. There is a good bit of medical research that indicates that it may have benefit in elevated blood pressure and cardiovascular health.

Except for Andrew Lessmans'product,this is the only other Omega3 I would ever even consider taking.Now that they have added the D3.....it's just that much better.

I was given several samples of omega prenatal supplements from my MD. I hated them all, they gave me a fishy burp (sorry gross I know) heartburn and/or tasted bad. I researched omega supplements and found Nordic Naturals to be the winner for me because it has the least amount of trace metals, mercury, PCBs that I could find. It is made from tiny anchovies in the icy sea surrounded by nature. And, if you've seen the documentary "Dolphin Cove", you will know that the bigger the fish (or depending on where it's caught) the more mercury and toxins it contains.
I am happy to report that I have had NO ugly side effects with this omega. I've taken them on an empty stomach without regret. We just ran out and are now using the NN lemon flavored omega 3-6-9 & love it as well. I supplement with New Chapter Omega 7 made from vegetarian sources.

This product has a strong dosage and it appears they take great precaution in many ways to make sure it is potent and safe. The capsules are a little larger than most but easy to swallow with some liquid. And, I like that one of the fish sources (the other are anchovies)is the sardine. These fish are an excellent source of the omegas and have one of the lowest of all pollution/toxic factors.

My doctor recommended Nordic fish oil. I was reluctant at first due to the higher price. I tried other brands and found that I was constantly burping and had a fishy taste in my mouth. I broke down and bought the Nordic brand and was pleasantly surprised--no burping or fishy taste. I was even more excited to learn that they have a softgel with vitamin D. Since most of us are vitamin D deficient, this is a great way to get that supplement without having to take another pill.
