this is a great product it does exactly what it says it would. Sharper mind, clearer thinking, healthier brain. I first started buying for my mother but now I see how it helps her I'm going to get for myself.

 Prevagen and Blood PressureMar 16, 2012

I bought this product for my 90 year old mother. She is physically in very good shape for 90 but she was getting more and more easily confused and forgetful. It wasn't helping much at one pill per day so I gave her 1 at breakfast and 1 at lunch. (They make Prevagen in a higher dose now so I felt it would be okay) After a couple weeks her memory improved amazingly and she was so organized.Then she saw her doctor and her blood pressure was very high. A bad reaction to new medication put her in the hospital. I took her off the Prevagen just incase it was part of the higher blood pressure problem. After being out of the hospital for a month with very stable blood pressure she wanted to start taking the Prevagen again. 4 days later her blood pressure spiked and she had chest pains. I can't prove it's from the Prevagen but we'll have to find something else to help her brain. I only want to warn people with high blood pressure to be on the allert for changes while taking Prevagen.

Quincy Bioscience Prevagen (30 caps)
I purchased two months worth of Prevagen, having high hopes that it would be effective. However, in my case, Prevagen has provided no improvement, even after 60 days of use. My short term memory has decreased, and especially frustrating is that now, words I am about to speak just vanish! That is most enbarrasing. I am age 58, in good health,but I must find some other remedy. I hope Prevagen is truly effective for some, but I cannot recommend it.

I've come to the conclusion that this stuff works for me. Wish it was cheaper, but a dollar a day is worth a sharp mind. As others have noted the "fog" lifts and thoughts and words come clearly. I've went through several rounds of using the product and then would go off it not wanting to spend the money on it, but after a few days of being off it, the fog would return. I do a good bit of public speaking and my clarity of thought is very important. This past week I lost my train of thought while speaking and realized I had lapsed in taking it the past week, so back on it yesterday. Nearly out and ordering a new supply.
It simply may not work for everybody, but I would encourage you to at least try it a couple of months straight, then go off it and see if there is a difference.
