 Lost the extra weightJul 15, 2010
All I have to say is that I tried all and could not loose the weight because of that I could not get into the military, thanks to this book I was able to cook and eat to loose those pounds,, finally,,,, thank you!!

My family and I have been using the Phase One diet for a couple months now and it has had amazing results with us. Unfortunatly Easter (and leftover days) have left us miserable after days of eating poorly, although most think of it as "regular food". It goes to show that eating well really is the largest part of staying healthy and feeling great. The recipes in this cookbook are fantastic! I think we have only tried one recipe that was just "ok". My kids even enjoy the meals. Would highly recommend. The money is worth feeling great.

I was going to purchase this book until I realized what a ripoff it really was...both on Doug Kaufman's website and on Amazon! Kaufman is supposedly sharing his wealth of information with people and not the least bit concerned with making money...his words! Well, I disagree with him and my take is all he's interested in is promoting himself and making a ton of money for him and his consorts. This book is $31.95 on his website. But wait, he's giving everyone a $6.39 discount, which still assures him of a BIG profit. But then he charges $13.29 to ship it from Dallas to me in Arkansas. Another big ripoff. He promotes all kind of "probiotic" products produced by his cronies.
Second ripoff;
This book sells on Amazon used for over $50.00...and I haven't even checked the shipping and handling. As far as I'm concerned anyone who buys any of Doug Kaufman's books is getting ripped off. He's a con artist and I'll not contribute to his success by buying anything he promotes!!!
